“KAIJU vs HEROES” - Mark Nagata’s Journey Through The World Of Japanese Toys @ Japanese American National Museum (Sept 2018)

After his successful Designer Con-tenure (Mark’s first in 9 years!), ’s Mark Nagata will be embarking on a show at the Japanese American National Museum, co-curating with Maria Kwong (@latdamuseum)!

Scheduled for September 2018 (No opening date set yet), the “KAIJU VS HEROES” exhibition features Mark’s own legendary toy collection, artwork and as well shows the History of Sofubi Toys (“Making of”, “process” etc). Mark had added; ”I’ve been working on it for over 2 years now .. so for me is an accomplishment of sorts to get a museum to recognize these toys.”
