BLUE BOO by Bubi Au Yeung x How2Work
And while I'd introduce you folks to "BLUE BOO" in an earlier feature, today we'll take a closer look at Bubi Au Yueng's new toy, made by How2Work!
"Blue Boo has a strong intuition, and he loves to close his eyes to enjoy the moment of solitude that made him aware of his surroundings and feels everything. Meanwhile, he would look so focused when he engages in deep thoughts. He especially likes the color Blue and Winter."
Sized 17cm tall, the glossy-surface figure looks like a "porcelain" product, doesn't it? As well it features "changing faces" via a turnable mechanism of the head, face and body (see video demo below), and includes a "blank face" for you to "draw" on. Released at Bubi's solo show "The World Of Non-Existence" in South Korea, at time of this post, there are three venues which carries BLUE BOO:
