MILKFACE by Kyle Goodrich
An animator and designer toy enthusiast currently based in LA, Kyle Goodrich shares with us his latest toy-creation, in the form of "MILKFACE"!
"I've been working on creating my own resin toys for the last two years and am finally ready to release them into the wild. I've created 75 rotocasted resin toys of an original character named Milkface, a rotten milk carton."
"Milkface" is a handmade resin cast designer toy sized 2.25” x 3.5” x 3”, bagged and tagged for US$55 (excluding shipping) with sticker included! Purchasable online via Etsy! Meanwhile, check out this process video!
"Dairy milk" as "toys" have more recently seen releases from Tokidoki, but a "face-on-milk-carton" was first released circa 2007 by Slave Labor Comics, with Evan Dorkin (whom I interviewed in 2007 and his comic=to-toys MILK & CHEESE; "Dairy Products Gone Bad".
I love this current version by Kyle, with the tongue sticking out either it's making a face to whomever is looking at it, or just (more likely) reacting to "sour milk"! LOL
