Japanese Trailer for RAMPAGE (starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson)
Actor Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson turns on the charm and learns to speak (some) Japanese, to present this trailer for the upcoming video-game-to-silver-screen film "RAMPAGE", and this looks hella fun! Premieres May 18th in Japan, while “Rampage” opens in U.S. theaters beginning April 20, and much earlier in Singapore on April 12th, 2018!
UPDATED: Having being retweeted by DRJ himself, this has made my blogday! Heck, my blogline on popcornX!
Well more like “featuring DRJ TRYING his best to not screw it up in Japanese”. Annunciation and inflection felt most important. Thank you Japan! The Kaiju is comin.. #RAMPAGE https://t.co/LQCxHGaXzw

*Check out the previous two trailers since released and featured on #popcornX (beware of somewhat story spoilers in the 2nd trailer tho...), and get ready to rock-out with a giant albino ape, a flying wolf, and a crocodile!
"Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend."
