Artists Interviews for IKEA Art Event 2018

A short while back I'd featured the glass collectibles for "IKEA's Art Event 2018", featuring a select collection of ornamental/decorative creations for the Swedish-founded Dutch-based furniture / lifestyle company, whose products has since hit stores in the U.S. and select countries (I've not checked in SG stores for this alas) ... featured here today are short video interview clips for each artists on their designs for their respective pieces (in addition to the earlier posted Joe Ledbetter's).



Artists included in this series are Michael Lau (Hong Kong / speaking in Cantonese), Arkiv Vilmasa, Coarse, James Jarvis, Joe Ledetter, Junko Mizuno, Nathan Jurevicius, and Ludvig Löfgren. It is always interesting to hear from the artists themselves, and also to "see" who they are, even though we might never not cross paths with them in our toy-lives ... not yet, anyways :)
















The video featured below is a featurette in spoken Swedish (? / alas with no English subtitles, apparently), but features images of select artists' pieces being made :)
