ACF (Art Character Fanfest) 2018 @ DDP, Seoul, Korea (May 18-19)

Launched Friday May 18th and exhibiting thru Saturday May 19th (Doors close at 6pm) at DDP (중구 을지로 281) Seoul, Korea, 2nd Floor - is the "ACF (Art Character Fanfest)" - featuring a an exhibition of invited artists (from Japan and Korea) showcasing/selling their collectible figures and artworks, along with workshop programs too! Organised by Ririsdoor, participating artists/designers for this inaugural event include Konatsu, T9G, Shoko Nakazawa, Dan The Kaiju, Dehara and Bridge Ship House (for Japan), and BARABAPA, BOENUS, Long Ear Bob and PLAYGROUNDERS (for Korea)!

I like the idea of a smaller scale, perhaps more intimate showcase of art and works, without a huge "convention" perhaps exhausting folks - at the very least myself and my diminished physicality hahahaha, likening this to a manageable and perhaps more fruitful encounter(s) with creators, ala a smaller scaled Singapore's Illustration Arts Fest, perhaps?
