KAWS' "PASSING THROUGH" for Sept 15th Store Sale at MEDICOM TOY PLUS
Besides the by-now Sold Out status on kawsone.com, Medicom Toy has since announced the impending sale of KAWS' "PASSING THROUGH" - in Brown, Grey and Black - only via their physical shop in Omotesando Hills, Tokyo; MEDICOM TOY PLUS. Price is 21,600 Yen (tax included) per figure. This is an "Open Edition" line-up, FYI.
And while this sale is for "Japan residents only" (no doubt dedicated to folks currently physically in Japan), as they have stated they "do not sell/ship to overseas countries."

I am constantly fascinated by KAWS toy releases, and the hype+furore surrounding the drops - from the media attention (I don't necessarily do it now for the bloghits, as EVERYBODY else is featuring KAWS' toys lol), and as well the double-edged excitement from his online drops on kawsone.com, and of folks indignation and the ensuing anger directed at him for missing drops and website outage - something we all have taken as "normality" in this day and age (*the "directed anger", not the "outages" :p) ... and while I'm not a "practising professional artist" in any capacity, I'd imagine the "good old days when all I had to do was create art" innit? :p
