Here's a closer look at Hong Kong toy designer Kenny Wong's "MOLLY CAREER" (Series 2) blind box - which I had attempted an unboxing video for but alas failed to press the record button properly, leading alas to these Instagrammed-slideshow images - which you could SWIPE the following embedded Instagram pics to view :p
Produced by POPMART, the resulting figure is a nicely sculpted piece - if not utilitarian - with crisp paint application, reminding me tons of Sonny Angels figurines, and it is a decent product, IMHO. Was it worth the SG$15 price tag (purchased in-store at Action City, Bugis)? To be completely honest, I'd grudgingly fork over $10-12 for this, as it might not be something I desire greatly, but "curiosity" got the better of me, and frankly I truly wanted to pull the SPACE MOLLY, because Im too cheap to spring for the larger-sized version, that remains a WANT in my tumulus toylife :p
ALSO, not shown here in any of these images, was the "spatula" accessory - which I only knew was "missing" from the figure, by the slot in Molly's hands, which In referred to the box-image, which in turn led me to rampaging inside of the foil bag, to find it safely kept inside, wrapped in a clear plastic baggie - so remember kids; DON'T THROW THE BAG AWAY UNTIL YOU SEARCHED THRU INSIDE OF IT!
Thank goodness for my hoarding ways tho LOL
The "Journey To The West" Molly Series however (I snagged two boxes of), now THAT I am excited to unbox next! LOL
