Honest Trailers Does 1987's "Masters of the Universe"
I have a very distinctive memory of hunting down the DVD for 1987's "Masters of the Universe", having only a vague recollection of visuals, but not having watched the entire movie beforehand. This was possibly in the (mid) 90s, where "buying it online" was not a option, and while I do relish a good hunt, this movie (along with "Buckeroo Banzai") had been alluding me for quite some time ...
But I finally found it at HMV in The Heeren, and made it mine! It was after then when I watched the actual film itself, that I found it to be quite a stinker (*Buckeroo was not!), and the commentary by Honest Trailers is wholly justified LOL

From being inspired by 80s' toys, to being released as action figures based on the film (Above featured Super7 "William Stout Collection of deluxe Masters of the Universe" 7-inch figures were on pre-orders, in March), the "MOTU" property has certainly once outlived this movie!
