#toynews: Goldbloom Edition GINGERSKULL by David Riesenberg
Spotted this figure in @tenacioustoys's newletter, and immediately had tingles running down my neck, feeling a tad uncomfortable in my mind, like an phantom-itch I needed to apply magical-ointment to, but at the same time finding it too fascinating to look away from ... Introducing "GINGERSKULL" by David Riesenberg!
Gingerskull is a 3D printed, resin reinforced 5-icnh tall figure, with this "Goldbloom" edition hand painted in Cobalt Black and Gold.
"Each character has a unique signature mark generated by a 3D growth algorithm which flows and intersects the form in singular ways. No two characters are the same."
The color choice is perfect here, as far as I am concerned, making it more lux rather than "macabre", IMHO. First released at DesignerCon 2019, the figure's creator has since Sold Out on his website, but Tenacious Toys has it for pre-orders here for US$95 each (*Check out the page for select figures available), with a late-January ship out.
"Each 100% unique character has a 2-digit serial number on it, with the Goldbloom edition limited to 60 one of a kind examples."
