Artist Poster Contributions to #ToyArtUK 2020
With the dreaded Coronavirus has since caused events and happenings being cancelled or postponed (indefinitely) thus far, the landscape ahead - at least dedicated to TOYS - seemed somewhat bleak and quite frankly unwelcoming and not something anyone dares to look forward to, understandably so ... but amidst all these negativity, one event continues to push forth in promotions, in a positive and constructive light, IMHO.
I personally appreciate the "Promotions Do Not End"-spirit of sharing, at a time when things are grinding to a virtual halt on so many a fronts, what else are we able to do, but share in the ART we dwell in, day in day out? IMHO, of course. Folks also need to tend to their family too, I understand. These are trying times all around indeed ... "Really wanted to be able to spread a little happy news this morning amidst all the chaos, so here it is. We have asked a number of incredibly talented artists to work on posters for #toyartuk2020 - because as far as we are concerned, it's still happening on September 5th. As I said, things WILL no doubt change over time - but for now we press on like #toyartuk2020 is still happening because we and the artists involved think it's the right thing to do and we all want something amazing to look forward to. Love and support to you all my friends."
