OG KUMATSUKI by Arman Kendrick (For June 15/2020 Pre-order)
WHO-IS: "The Kumatsuki is a samurai bear who roams the land together with his adopted father, Ayo-sensei (the wolf), they both fight for justice and try to protect the people who are suffering from the evil emperor's deeds."
Created by Arman Kendrick, the KUMATSUKI is the first character to be introduced to folks in the (re)launch of the TAKO JIMBO UNIVERSE - where each and every character plays (teased above) an elaborate role on how the Tako Jimbo story develops and ends.
The first wave of OG Kumatsuki is scheduled for a June 15th online pre-order release (12pm GMT+8), with TWO sizes to be had:
*8-inch tall figure in a Limited Edition run of 35pcs, each priced at US$200 (includes an alternative head with a removable hanya mask and a card of authenticity).
*3-inch tall figure in a Limited Edition run of 50pcs, each priced at US$80 (includes a card of authenticity).
They will be casted in resin and hand-painted individually, as you can see in the WORK-IN-PROGRESS preview images featured below, and the final completed figures featured below that!
Due to the coronavirus and travel restrictions, shipping international may be delayed. But international orders will be accepted. To ensure the quality of each figure, Shipping is 1st week of July. You might want to stay connected to IG @armankendrick for any further updates.
With even the visuals seen here in these WIP-snaps, the details are amazing, and quite surely this is not a run-of-the-mill casual release, with thus far a exceedingly premium look at the toy-art, IMHO.
Beyond just looking awesome aesthetically, a universe has as well been built and weaved into the stories interconnecting the characters - whom I'll take a closer look individually soon ... meanwhile here's a taster:
