This opens up as well a underlying issue I've observed thru my years of blogging, where there are artists/makers/practisioners that are not as proficient in self-promotion - at the very least in providing their own "Artists Bio" - which sometimes is a "wasted opportunity", even if it meant a "60 to 100 worded bio" (which you could eventually add to your "artist description" requirement for promotions when you jin conventions/fairs/festivals etc). Take that step to promote yourself, regardless of how "new" (or you might feel "under achieved", understandably so) or how long you've been in the industry, IMHO.
In this day and age (especially so with COVID-19), being able to stand out amidst a literal sea of globalwide creators emerging or practising, it might help to remind folks, or even bring fresh new eye-balls to your art, IMHO.
I've published a few articles on "SELF-PROMOTION" through the years (one obviously outdated, especially with the advent of "SOCIAL MEDIA" :p), but thought might help you folks with a POV if a "non-artist" :)
