SPACE SWEEPERS #승리호 on Netflix (Feb 5 Premiere)
"Space Sweepers" ("승리호" / "Spaceship Victory" = literal title) is the name of this South Korean sci-fi feature film, since scheduled to premiere February 5th on Netflix. I held my breath while watching the teaser (and subsequent trailers posted below) for the first time, and essentially screamed my brains out internally, with the excitement I had.
Directed by Jo Sung-Hee (2012's "A Werewolf Boy"), who also wrote the screenplay, the film was initially meant for a theatrical release, but understandably with the current global pandemic, the (2hours 16minuter) feature has since gone streaming. Looking at the grandeur of the effects in the teaser and trailers, it would have indeed been a spectacle on a larger screen in a darkened cinema indeed! Be that as it may, a "Cowboy Bebop" vibe shivered down my spine (Yes, I know "different genre" and story, but), and I AM ALL FOR IT! Here are previous trailers to gawk at;

Wiki stated that the early working title of the film was "Lightning Arc (Korean: 번개호; RR: Beongaeho)". Huayi Tencent had invested $4.2 million in the film. The visual effects company Dexter Studios, which was behind the production of the action films "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" and "Ashfall", was hired for Space Sweepers. And what I LOVE about this feature, is that they "(Have) No Intentions To Save The Earth", and I am totally down with that! LOL
