YOFACE & MCYOFACE by Mirfak Available Now
Indonesia based toy sculptor and toy-maker Mirfak Prabowo (instagram.com/mirffu) shares with us his latest character creations: "YOFACE" and "MCYOFACE" - which he is re-releasing (scroll to bottom of this blogpost for deets), and as well we get to find out more about this character(s)...
"This person has multiple personalities. All the personalities have one thing in common though, they are all wearing a Kaonashi mask (a character from Ghibli's Spirited Away). But each one of them also has different obsessions."
"Yoface is the first personality with the original color of black & white. He is an 'otaku' over Kaonashi (obviously) hence the brooch he's wearing proudly on his chest.
While McYoface sporting red & white color, holding a french fries, and not forgetting the 'clown-esque' look indicates his fondness of McDonald's."
Available online via ffuspace.bigcartel.com, these 3-inch tall pre-painted hand-made resin figures are priced at US$45 each (international shipping included), with both Yoface & McYoface limited to 12pcs per batch. Mirfak also mentioned: "Both of them are in their last batch. After this batch, I plan to make other personalities (other variant colors)."
