Goya x Sickemil: "El Sueño de la Razón produce monstruos. figura de acción"
Emilio Subirá introduces to us his latest creation; "GOYA" - based on art b Francisco de Goya, specifically: "El sueño de la razón produce monstruos" from his engraving collection "Los caprichos".
"As the title of this engraving (says), the dream of the reason produces monsters, so I did, (and) I produced a vampire nightmare monster which is the literal recreation of the metaphor, (which has) become (an) action figure."
"The figure is made of resin and has 4 points articulation (arms, head and waist) the packaging comes with a resealable blister so you can take out the figure to admire his back, butt included. The cardboard is a copy of the original engraving reworked and colorized by me. (I apologize for this despicable act of appropriationism). Everything on this piece has been completely designed, sculpted, painted and produced by my cold bare hands, just as always."
Launched online via sickemil.storenvy.com on March 8th, the first edition of this 8.5cm tall (Poliurethane) resin figure comes blister-carded, and will be signed, dated and numbered. Includes Authenticity Certification.
