DIY TRACKBOT CONTEST from Underverse (Ends May 14)
Underverse has announced their DIY TRACKBOT COLORING CONTEST, whereby participants are to custom-paint their their TRACKBOTS, and submit images by the deadline of May 14th. Check out the full requirements specified in the Insta-embed image below or here on underverse.com...
As stated in the rules, the TOP FIVE CUSTOMS will be chosen by The UV Team (headed by Ashley Wood), will be required to ship their custom DIY Trackbot to Underverse's Shanghai offices for display at WONDERFESTIVAL SHANGHAI 2021! And yes, you will be reimbursed. Again, read the rules.
The Top 3 finalists will be voted on and chosen by the fans! Prizes include:
* First Prize: Black Juicy VIP Muse Set signed by Ashley Wood
* Second Prize: Limited WWR2 Lupus The Hunter signed by Ashley Wood
* Third Prize: Chrome Ashtro Lad signed by Ashley Wood
In an era of (digital) illustrated and/or rendered contests, it's becoming increasing hard(er) to see a physical contest such as this, IMHO.
The "trick" is, Underverse is currently not offering any 14" tall DIY Trackbots for sale, having Sold Out since their release in 2020 ... so either you snag one in the secondary market, bug your retailer(s) for any piece in stock, or bootleg a Trackbot and try your luck (*Closest I ever got was a Pipebot :p) which is NOT RECOMMENDED, of course (:p), or just bring out what you purchased in 2020 and lay some paint on it! ~ GOOD LUCK, folks!
I have not seen, much less held in my grubby hands the Trackbot, but thankfully there are images to share...!
