New Trailers for Mamoru Hosoda's "BELLE"

Brand new trailer(s) for Mamoru Hosoda's "Belle: Ryuu to Sobakasu no Hime" (Name in English: "Belle: The Dragon and the Freckled Princess") animated feature film, in 90seconds and 30seconds versions, complete with English subs. The feature premieres in Japan on July 16.



STORY: "Suzu, a 17-year-old high school student living in a rural village with her father. For years she has only been a shadow of herself. One day, Suzu enters "U," a virtual world of five billion online members, and she becomes Belle, a world-famous singer. Belle soon meets with a mysterious creature with whom she embarks on a journey of adventures and love in their quest of becoming who they truly are."



The character design aesthetics, and online-platform content is very reminiscent of Mamoru Hosoda's "Summer Wars" animated featured from 2009, and if this is either a "sequel" (non indications otherwise), or happens in a similar universe, I personally CANNOT WAIT ...! I even teared up again watching the trailer for "Summer Wars" again (featured below) .... F88k, but I LOVE "Summer Wars"...
