Since my earlier feature, Javier Jimenez has complete his painting of his ANATOMY OF WANANEKO 3D-sculpt and it looks GLORIOUS!
First appeared as a 2D-illustration print & printed on tees, the current incarnation of "Anatomy of Wananeko" is hand-painted on resin figure, with pre-orders getting a signed print and a trading card! "Those who've been around long enough will remember the classic print I released back in 2014 when Wananeko was first released as a resin figure in a show in Tokyo. It later became a t-shirt, and for the longest I wished it could be made into a toy. I never gave up on the idea but for some reason didn't know how to do it, or was too busy with other stuff. Recently I realised that the best way to present this toy was as a classic anatomy model. Today I'm showing you how it came out, and I will start taking limited pre-orders on Sunday 26th at 11AM EST (17 Spanish time)."

Sized approx 5.11" (13cm) tall, each resin figure is made in Spain, and is hand-painted by Javier Jiménez. Priced at €100.00, pre-orders get a signed "Anatomy of Wananeko" print. All Anatomy of Wananeko orders get an exclusive trading card. Available online via stickupmonsters.com, start Sunday September 26th at 11AM ET. Ships in late October.
