Revealed today is "The SHINING WIZARD" from Daniel Yu, with this Tiger-themed wrestler figure apart of "Creative Intersections: In the Year of the Tiger", as curated by Chan + Hori Contemporary and presented by Funan SG (The event brings artists and brands together for this year's Singapore Art Week).
"Inspired by my love for 90s pro wrestling, he’s also named after the wrestling manoeuvre innovated by The Great Muta. It always felt to me that the move exuded a certain mystical aura, and would make a fitting name for an out of this world wrestler." (Shared @thedanielyu).
For collectors in Singapore, painted editions of the Shining Wizard will be available for preorder in-store at thecollectorbase.sg (#04-14 at Funan Mall) starting Friday, January 14th, and ends February 13th. Price & Quantity TBC. International orders will be available online at a later date.
