TOYS TOYS TOYS for Singapore Comic Con 2022 (Dec 10-11)



Exhibitors has since been listed on singaporecomiccon.com, and I take a (none-too) quick glance thru the list in an attempt to identify specifically brands/artists associated with TDesigner Toys / Art Toys / (Licensed) Collectible toys (No statues tho, sorry not my forte), hoping to provide a handy LIST for attendees to look forward to spending your year-end monies for, bringing a sweet-end to 2022!



DISCLAIMER: This list is not exhaustive and I might be missing out on brands/artists I man unfamiliar with (Apologies for that).

I'll be going thru them in random order, and state their Booth # (if they have been revealed on their individual socials(Instagram), cheers.





BEAST KINGDOM @beastkingdom_seasia looks to be offering up licensed properties and character figures at Booth L1-D06. The "Medieval Knight" versions of IRON MAN and SPIDER-MAN looks hella dope tho!







And while "BOXFACELAB" is familiar to TOYSREVIL for collectible art toys, for SGCC Artist Sungwon Jo @boxboxlab will be showcasing a new publication "Sea Child" at Booth L1-AA73. Will we see some sculpts at this booth like in Taipei Toy Festival, I wonder?

Am I shallow for thinking of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Kdrama when I see "whales"...? :)





DOTOY from South Korea will be boothing at SGCC (Booth # Unknown) and it looks like he's brought a whole lot of goodies! You can check out his toys and updates via his Insta @dotoy_2015 (Montaged images above via).

The last DOTOY was in Singapore for Comic-Con was in 2019, before the pandemic shut the world down, and I am sure there'll be tons more t see from the South Korean creator!







52Toys from China has partnered with @giftsgreetings_sg in Singapore, and offering up MICKEY SEMI MECHA & Beastbox figures, Blind Box Series and ALIEN by James Groman at Booth L1-B06. As well collectibles were listed online for preorder, to collect at SGCC itself! FYI: The preorder page has since closed as of this blog-feature, sorry :p







Local creator SOMA PAWS will be offering up original resin creations, custom toys and prints at his Booth L1-AA93 in Artist Alley. Ive since featured his Death HeadZ to debut at SGCC, the SD Version Death HeadZ and crossover project with SpookyWorkHK. Stay connected to his socials for more: Instagram + Facebook.





TOIDEN will showcase original character creations from @rushotoys and @mikutoyz at Booth L1-AA65 & L1-AA66 in nArtist Alley. I've previously reviewed in-hand RUSHO and KRASH, and am excited for folks to experience them in person at SGCC!







Mighty Jaxx has the largest display zone in SGCC at L1-D05, and will be offering up these event exclusives and invited guests @poyun_wang and @ryogotoyoda.





Tokidoki will be boothing at L1-C04, and at this point I can only guess what will be available (some lines released by Gift Greetings in Singapore). Plus Simone Legno signing sessions will definitely bring the queues!





I was intrigued to see @vincenttrinidadart's unpainted Sushi Meowster revealed on my timeline! And now that a colored version is revealed (for Manila Bang Show, not necessarily for Singapore tho?), I cannot wait to see this in person! I just need to find out WHICH Booth he'll be at tho ~ LOL







@ziqi_wu of MonyterLittle will no doubt bring the cuteness with his Little Dinos (made with @unboxindustries), and possibly his massive army of stickers and merch = all of whom are originally designed by him!





I'll be very interested to see what Designer / Art Toys retailer @happibox will bring to the show this weekend at their booth! I'm looking thru their Insta and happibox.sg and seeing things I really want too! Actually I am "scared" to go see their booth, as shared as I am of going to their shop in Lucky Plaza, as there's too many things I want that are out of my reach! HOW, LIDDDAT?





"Simply Toys" will no doubt be offering up licensed media collectibles, including Funko Pop!s and Q posket character figures. Hey, I might be hunting for Tokidoki SANDy Pop!, so at least there's something (possibly) affordable a memorabilia I could walk way from SGCC with, no? LOL

ADDITIONAL NON-SOLICITED PERSONAL COMMENTARY:
Action City is not participating in this year's Comic-Con, so there are no Marvel/DC Hot Toys nor Medicom Toy or Pop Mart installations or presentations (AC is the main distributers of these toy brands here in SG), except for Madame Tussauds Singapore @mtssingapore unveiling a "LOKI" life-sized wax figure at Booth L1-E04 ... but then again other toy retailers could be picking up the slack, right? I can imagine my 1/6-collecting kakis breathing a sigh of relief not needing to queue up for "event exclusives" ...! Or maybe they'll "miss queuing up for event exclusives"...? :p
