Kaichudento Obake by Blue Tengu
Singapore-based toy-creator Desmond Hinkson AKA Blue Tengu debuted a brand new character figure in his Yokai-themed line (which begun with YOKAI RESCUE SAUCER BUNBUKU-FO), with "Kaichudento Obake", made its debut at SuperToy Fest over the weekend. TOY-STORY: A descendant of the lantern yokai Chochin Obake, Kaichudento Obake is an electric lantern ghost with an endless thirst for battery power. If you ever left perfectly good batteries in a drawer only to find them drained or gummy, then you can be sure that Kaichudento Obake has been licking all the power out of them. Maybe having one in sofubi form will scare rivals away from your home and keep your batteries safe?
