EVENT PRESS: This exhibition marks Ratoās first-ever appearance in New York, where she will unveil a new collection of paintings and ceramic figurines that transport us to the enchanting world of āSweet Home Catā.
āRATO implements a worldview centered around the character āSweet Home Catā through toys, prints, and paintings. āSweet Home Catā, who looks like a mixture of a house and a cat, can be seen as a house that moves without settling down in one place, or as a cat that feels comfortable wherever it goes as if it were home. Sweet Home Cat is a being that affirms adventure, meeting various spaces and creatures and continuing his journey. His world is full of lively shapes and fantastic colors, and the fantasy is clear and vivid rather than blurry or hazy.ā
Highlights of the exhibition include the exclusive release of sofubi and resin toys, as well as an assortment of goods and accessories.
