Stranger Necklaces from Flawtoys



TOYNEWES SUBMISSION: Something new from FLAWTOYS based off a figure form we are familiar with, with STRANGER NECKLACES available now on flawtoys.bigcartel.com, featuring a quartet of editions: Gold Plated / Silver Plated / Dark Polished / Matte Black Anodised.



Limited to 100pcs each edition, the pendant measures 3cm til, with the necklace cord made of black leather, and has a clasp. €70.00 per pendant, all 4 editions priced €240.00 (Length of necklace between 60cm to 80cm, price unchanged).



TOYSREVIL: What was the genesis of The Stranger Necklace? And how was the development and transition to this current state? And what can we look forward to in the future of "Stranger"?

FLAWTOYS: A while back, I created some Stranger necklaces using 3D printing in different metals. However, the quality didn’t compare to traditional jewelry-making techniques. Since then, I’ve tried collaborating with two local jewellers to produce them properly, but both times I screwed over and ended up losing my investment. It was super discouraging.



FLAWTOYS: Fortunately, I recently connected with a friend of a close friend who’s now helping me bring the necklaces to life while also supporting the local craftsman.

I've been developing my character "Stranger" for years and am happy to share it in various forms and mediums. I'm currently working on an exciting new project to create larger pieces, including furniture, in collaboration with a local factory.
