I didn't know that Burger King is currently promoting SMURFS? With 12 character figures to collect via their "King Jr. Meal" (think "Happy Meal" :p), in tandem with the animated Smurfs movie (in cinemas July 18th / Scroll thru to bottom pf this post to watch trailer, cheers)... and realising there is actually not that many "Smurf"-inspired makes out there, innit? Here are three of my art toy recommendations;
"Staring into the void and feeling kinda blue"... "Light Off Blue" by @rxstrip X Pobber Toys (@pobbertoys) is since listed as "Sold Out", and I do not know if this 6-inch tall polyresin-made figure is in the "wild", so do check in with your fav retailer(s) for availability, cheers.
"A SKULLTOON AWAKENING" is a art toy collaboration between Austria-creator @theodoru X France-based @juce_gace, with this 20cm tall vinyl figure limited to 200pcs in this colorway, each €155 on jucegace.bigcartel.com (there's also a "Papa Smurf" colorway available)... comes with a deluxe certificate and an "inspirational" circumstance to a otherwise "active" life of pleasure, cheers. Try explaining this to the kids tho...
Last but definitely not least, is "SMURFETT" from the late Marc Lim aka @esfaderist X FLABSLAB (@flabslab), with this 13.5cm / 5.25in tall resin-figure (with a magnetic base) in an edition of 75pcs, available on flabslab.bigcartel.com for US$150 (exclude shipping)... her deadly chamrs spread across the galaxy...
