My Comic-Con Scores
So the 2025 Edition of the annual Singapore Comic-Con has just ended, and shown here are what I had purchased - with these not meant to "show-off" what I could afford (well, technically these were all I could afford for the rest of the year, but...), but as a response and reminder to myself, as I distinctively remembered I walked away from the 2024 Edition of SGCC with nothing in hand, quite literally none.
Abject lack of finances contributed significantly to the situation of course, and as well none too enticing to my budget considerations ... this year however? And all these after the onslaught of Pop Toy Show SG too?
I tried to avoid PRINTS (it was hella hard, what with the line-up of artists+illustrators this year), but nabbed some comicbooks I was wholly unfamiliar with, and a decent assortment of art/indie toys (generally enticingly priced too) and licensed character toys (which I ultimately could not avoid because I is weak that way)... and overall enjoyed the vibe! Or maybe it was my way of (geek)life that had adapted into my own circumstance?
Will think about it later, time now to go play toys and read some comics...! Hope this year's comic-con was a bountiful and satisfying one for you too?
