LANTERNS
The first proper full-length teaser trailer for "LANTERNS" has dropped, in anticipation of it's "August" premiere on HBO Max... and we are seeing a whole lot more than the "first look" (Scroll to the bottom of this post to view)...!
The 8-episoder series features Kyle Chandler ("Hal Jordan") and Aaron Pierre ("John Stewart") investigating a murder on Earth. Touted as "being inspired by the series "True Detective". Nathan Fillion as "Guy Gardner" (Whom appeared in James Gunn's "Superman" film) will be the third Green Lantern to be apart of the series too. (Source)
There's the ring, the suit, the lantern and "flying" ...! Although I honestly do not expect them to be donning their GL-spandex, at least til the end of the last episode in "Season 1" ~ LOL
This will be the third television series in the DC Universe (DCU).

PREMISE: Green Lanterns are intergalactic peacekeepers who wear rings that give them extraordinary powers. The series follows experienced Lantern Hal Jordan and new recruit John Stewart as they investigate a murder in Nebraska, which leads them to darker mysteries and reckonings.
