in a press-release touting announcing that Chris Nolan will be utilizing IMAX-technology to film 4 scenes from the Dark Knight-movie, a coupla images were revealed [via] - one of which has Joker teasingly-behind a frosted panel, on set and in-front of the camera ...


... and the other was of a clown-mask. for which the rumor-mill has it that the Joker was initially unscarred and wore a mask, afterwhich an accident (involving Batman, 'natch) left poor Jack scarred and mentally-challenged ... and to lead a life of perpetual crime, which ultimately leaves him rotting in Arkham Asylum? i liked this quote (from the press release) - which basically touts the glorious and grand entrance of a psychotic-serial killer (abetted a celluloid+comicbook one, of coz - WTF?):
