Event-Images for Taipei 100% FREE @ Monster Gear Taipei (April 2-15)
CLICK THRU for some event-snaps of the TAIPEI 100% FREE event at MONSTER GEAR, which saw the Taipei-based shopspace turned into a Danke Schoen-playground of colors featuring interpretations of the bears by a host of Japanese and international artists [featured / tagged]. TAIPEI 100% FREE exhibits thru April 15th 2010.
Opening day on April 2nd saw "live" painting sessions featuring Satoshi Yoshioka (above) and ECONECO [featured], clad in her signature orange-overalls (posted below). Am very curious to see how the final artwork looked like tho ... (Hit me at toysreviler [at] gmail.com if you have snaps, thanx!)
The event saw the attendance of TOUMA (in Knucklebear-mask) in a signing session with fans on the second day of the exhibition (April 3rd), which also saw (i think?) Ms Naoko Shimojo (the creator of Danke Schoen / massive apologies if I'm wrong tho!!!) overlooking the masked-artist, clad in mouse-ears! Kawaii desu neh! :)
Event exclusives include the 50-pcs limited metallic-Pink Danke Schoen vinyl figure (of which 40 pcs were released in-store, while 10 went online in Japan). Price per is 5,000YEN / TW$1,500.

As mentioned in my earlier post, Monster Gear also asks for folks to list their first, second and third choices. I would say "Tell'em TOYSREVIL Sent Ya!" ~ but nt sure if that'll register at all LOL :p
