Announcing Pre-Orders for TOYSREVIL-Edition Smirking Python by POP Prolific
I am (admittedly) a 1/6-scale lover in my toy-heart. And when I saw Justin Volpe's (of POP Prolific) Hollow Walker (circa SDCC), I was gobsmacked and foaming at the mouth ~ with both it's subtle yet dynamic design, and it's concept drenched in both tradition and fandom. Imagine my utter-joy when I had the opportunity to collaborate with Justin on our very own TOYSREVIL-Edition Smirking Python figure! Which I now present to you, my dear friends and readers, for your pre-order considerations!
The Smirking Python TOYSREVIL-Edition is limited to only 20 pieces, and features a brand new original headsculpt by Justin, wrapped in hand-made fabric tunic, with tons of attitude, as only a ninja can evoke!
Pre-orders begin NOW and ends on October 22nd, 2010 @ 11:59PM (+8 GMT / Singapore-time).
Do note that pre-orders will end before the stipulated date/time if all 20 pre-orders are fulfilled before then.
PRICE: US$195 per figure (sans shipping costs)
SHIPPING: Additional US$15 for U.S.-based order, and US$30 for orders outside of the U.S.

The unique aspect of this figure series, is that they will come with "blind boxed weapons", which will consist of:
- 3 x Flintlock Musket & Gunpowder Flask
- 5 x Sword (metal) & Sheath (random color) set w/ 2 Throwing Stars
- 5 x Chain Whip (metal) & 3 Frag Grenades
- 5 x Mace & 2 Smoke Grenades
- 2 x "Secret"
Yes, you will not be able to choose your desire weapons (where's the "fun" in that anyways, yeh? Muahahahaha) but you will receive the hand-made figure in all it's awesomeness (and that's no over-hyping here). Do note that the TOYSREVIL-Edition of Smirking Python comes on a Barrack Sergeant body ("which is similar in design to Hot Toys" ~ mentions Justin).
SMIRKING PYTHON STORY: "Orphaned after a raiding party descended on her families’ nomadic caravan, she was discovered by the Hollow Walker beneath the charred husk of an ox cart. Raised by outcasts and bandits, she was trained in a variety of martial arts and weapons based combat from masters all over the known world… and beyond. The Smirking Python’s tale is one whose twist and turns are more suspicious than her many guises."
