Upcoming New Toys on TOYSREVIL (Jan/30/2011)
With the launch of the Kidrobot Dunny Azteca Series 2, Ernesto and Carlos of The Beast Brothers prepares to release their Artist Proof / A/P-Dunnys with a decidedly "bloody" slant, with the "Sacrificial Stones" coming along with miniature ceremonial knifes and hearts. Only the teaser exists, with no details of drop-date nor price. Cool tho. And oh yes, let's not forget about their "chase" Golden Calendario Azteca Dunny APs!
We first had a display-glimpse at last year's STGCC, now Tokidoki is soliciting orders for their 2.5 inch tall PVC-made UNICORN mini figures in blind-box! Each box will have a SRP of US$6.95, with each case (US$166.80) consisting 24 pieces, with 8 basic figure designs to collect. With a projected release date in April 2011 - Tenacious Toys is currently consolidating preorders - so head on there to support their efforts, or go bug your fav retailer or availability.
There is also a chance to pull the 1:50 Fumo, or the 1:200 Prima Donna figure. Unicorns and chases, a potent combo, methinks ;p
David Horvath of Ugldolls conjures up duo BOSSY KAIJUS with a visual combo of his Bossy Bear and kaijus for Toy2R, complete with monstery-fangs and reptilian bodies, Can't wait for further details about these!
And while there never might be a magical unicorn in Asgard, Hot Toys offers up the Marvel Comics' THOR in full articulated 1/6th-scale, complete with "battle helmet", firs teen on Thor's head of molded-hair in these images. Expect product stats to surface at the HT-website within the weekend.
Enterbay readies to tackle an infamous character from Luc Besson's USA-movie debut, with LEON THE PROFESSIONAL in 1/6th-scale! The snap of actor Jean Reno and his deadpan facial demeanor seems spot-on, doesn't it? It would be utterly swell if there actually were a 1/6 "Mathilda" right next to the surname-less professional fictional hitman, wouldn't it? (Don't deny it, you were thinking it too). Of course not forgetting the potted plant … Exciting stuff, nevertheless.
