Seen@STGCC 2010: Walk Of Fame
WHAT: Many weeks ago in December 2010 this Saturday, I ventured out of the hospital for a single day to cruise along the con-aisles of the Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention in Suntec City. This was what I witnessed from my trusty wheelchair…
Folks used to the previous two years of STGCC were greeted with a new layout for the event's WALK OF FAME aspect, with an unmanned corner of the hall dedicated to the many comicbook creators and illustrators (display panels for each person) as well as display columns/shelves for individual toy-creator, in this instance, products from the Hong Kong trio of Alice Chan, TIm Tsui and Jason Siu, as well DEVILROBOTS and Mori Chack, and Tokidoki from Italy. (Signings were at a separate arena). We have some snaps which we'll like to share with you all HERE.
Wonder why Alice Chan's ASTERIA ANIMALS were "lying down" tho ;p
Tim Tsui's entire modern toy simian figures were out in display in full force -
including the brand new Black Edition Da Sturm [blogged]
A delightful trip down toy-memory lane was 1/6-scaled fashion figures
Monkey Playground in differing editions from Jason Siu = Def-Cool!
Gods but I wanted the gear/accessories so badly!
DEVILROBOTS dominated with their EvilRob license with Medicom Toy
Tokidoki-Unicorns? *Man-Gush*
Now that's a whole lotta BE@RBRICKS huge and small, innit?
(And a whole lotta stationary innit? That's where the cash is tho)
