Custom Works on TOYSREVIL (March/13/2011)
WEEKEND-ROUNDUP: This week's blog-harvest of custom-toys include work from Rsin Art, Christopher Rabbit, Chris Morris, Teimaru, Rotobox and a Godz carving from NEMO.
We also had an awesome look at customs by Doktor A for his "Tarnished Daydreams" show in Iksentrik, as well a feature custom-post on Jon-Paul Kaiser. We've also had a chance to feature two custom-Symbiotes for the "For The Love Of Vinyl" show, with Podgy Panda's Gumball-goodness and a first-look reveal for Chaukoskis' Peter Petrol.
Upcoming custom Mad*L WhiZ mecha from local customer PHU! complete with it's own Rebel Pilot. Posted here are WIPs ~ expect studio-shoots soon. Cool as always.
Jan Calleja fills up his ariel ranks with SUPER SPITFIRE 7 inch Celsius DOGFIGHTER custom ~ featuring a design "inspired by the Allied forces' hero of the battle of Britain, the Supermarine Spitfire." ~ if I said "you can practically hear the auto-gunfire in the air", would you believe me? :)
Chaukoskis reveals on his Flickr the wondrous monochrome variant of his "Birro The Clown" custom-Dunny for the Most Wanted Series 2, as well Grimsheep reveals his variant-Assassins below. Really nice these!
Customs from Monkey with a decidedly illustratory-feel and looking real nice. Look out for more customs via Facebook (although not all of the same style tho).
While researching for Dunny-releases, I'd come across a few custom-Dunny posts on the KR forum, showcasing work done on the Chuckboy Dunny-form. Folks really like the cyber-mecha notion, don't they? Shown above is GNAT (Geothermal Nuclear Armored Trooper) from Ardabus Rubber, while immediately below showcases commissioned work from Zam
Trex Wang has been steadfast in custom work done on the Chuckboy-designed Dunny actually (one of the most collection I have seen online). We had previously posted his works, and now here are some updated ones! Check out more on his Facebook.
A matter of time before I get to see VISEone attempt the Dark Knight custom, and shown here, alongside a Spiderman ~ both customized on Munnys.
