“Let’s Jump!” Baby Treesons Chinese Checkers set from Bubi Au Yeung
Opening October 19th at Anderson Art in Taiwan, is Hong Kong illustrator/designer Bubi Au Yeung's solo exhibition titled “Simply Simple Me”. And as apart of the exhibition, she will be releasing a "LET’S JUMP! Baby Treesons Chinese Checker Set", which includes the following;
- 2.2” tall Baby Treeson x 30pcs
- Sized 22” double sided checkerboard x 1pc
- mini wooden dice x 1pc
- 3 x screen printed canvas bags to store 3 groups of Baby Treesons
Designed by Bubi Au Yeung, and published by Gallery Gladden, this Collector’s Edition is available for NT6600 (approx. US$214 / SG$294), and you can pre-order by emailing vip.gladden@gmail.com (do check in for "international" availability and additional postage costs).
The exhibition itself ends November 4th, 2018 ... not too sure if the toys' last that long, folks, So Stay Sharp!
I've been a huge fan of "Treeson" ever since Crazy Label first trusted me with one in circa 2006, and subsequently I'd collected a few editions, including the 8-inch tall Treeson and the Baby Treesons (I think I have, like 1 figure :p), and even when Fluffyhouse produced it, I was able to add the Special Edition Box Set to my humble collections. This third incarnation will be produced by Gallery Gladden, and looks more of a re-sied version of a "regular" Treeson, than a "chibi" or purposefully stylistic "Baby" version, IMHO.
C'mon, could you resist thirty multiple colored Treesons in a single package? :)
