KAWS CEREAL MONSTERS HITS GROCERY STORES IN THE U.S. - with this being one of two related blogposts on the TOP TEN this week!

TL;DR: A United States-only based sweepstakes has offered up KAWS-designed figurines based off General Mills' "MONSTERS" characters for their line of cereals, with contest ending "12/1/22 at 11:59 p.m. ET". Folks are to email in codes found on the cereal boxes, to see if they are one if the "100,00 winners" to be had for this sweepstakes.

Based on the terms&conditions stated on kawsmonsters.com "Winners will be notified via email by "December 2nd". I have been receiving DMs on socials from folks offering me their "prizes won" (which I was initially skeptical of), and most recently have received DM (Thanks, Dan!) who shared that such emails might well be legit ... so all I an say is: "Venture forth with appropriate caution and may your transactions be successful!"

Be mindful that there might be a period of time where either the prizes are "collected in person" (doubtful), or another round of awaiting prizes being "mailed-in" to the original winners, before being mailed to you... unless this has all been specified n "winners' notification emails", and I am yet again wasting everyone's time speculating about what I do not know! :p

The second TOKUSATSU VINYL-release from BLACKSEED TOYS based off fictional behind-the-studio-scenes of classic "Tokusatsu" programs, sees "UltraTan" ("Ultraman" X "Alien Baltan") taking a smoke break before continuing filming... LOVE THIS! NEED THIS...! The appropriated parody twisted by creative chaos is a breath of fresh air in the appropos culture we now all dwell in, IMHO.

Also NEED&WANT "GOJIJI", but alas they'll both be listed on my TOYWISHLIST or now... *mansob*

Yes, your eyes did not play tricks on you, for it is indeed @mueanfunillusion's "BLACK HOOD CAT" (independently released resin figures) but since renamed "Bad Meaw" for vinyl production releases with Unbox Industries...!

"SKATEBOARD MONSTER" from 1000Tentacles has since dropped for PREORDER with instructions stated in blogpost-linked, cheers. Do also check in with your fav retailers for availability. Sized 18.5cm tall X 14cm wide X 11cm deep, this huge vinyl figure'll be limited to 300 sets worldwide.

In just realized this: This is the second of two figures on this list that has their characters with a faux "cigarette"...! And while we've seen plenty of Kozik characters smoking (from Rabbits to Quees and more), I remembered a bygone time when apparently "toys with ciggies" were discouraged to be on "public display" in Singapore...! ... Sorry, no authentication for this anecdote, cheers :p ... To a ex-smoker like myself (I've gone cold turkey since my Stroke in 2010 :p), this amuses me :)

KAWS CEREAL MONSTERS is currently by far the most accessible KAWS-related collectible figure product thus far (I'd not dare state "affordable" because we really don't know the resale value at this point, do we? Do We?) ... although I'd imagine if there were any tangible money value, bootleggers might will bootleg versions of these, in different colorways too! Would be FUN if there's be a BAG of multiple figurines, ala "lil'green army men" ~ LOL
