READABLES on TOYSREVIL



I just "retired" this line-up of links to my blog-features (from the blog-main-menu-left), but will instead relink them here, cheers.

They are divided into FOUR main categories:

COLLECTING TOYS = Where they are "designer toy"-related musings and observations. Ranging from what my perceptions of "What Design er Toys Are?" From when I started this blog in 2006, to toy memories (from 2007-2009), to more musing s post-Stroke in 2011, after which I don't have anything proud I'd like to share, actually. The blog had by then taken on more of a "billboard"-role, in showcasing folks' toy-releases, other than showing off my own toys, or even sharing my toy memories, alas.

LIVING THE 1/6 WORLD = Is my attempt at holding unto my love for "1/6th", and realising I've hardly anything I'd wanted to share beyond "2006", which personally to me is heartbreaking :(

SELF-PROMOTION = Is where I attempt to navigate the www and socials, and share what I think could be done, and what I had done. Realising as well most of the listed articles are circa 2011, and one sole 2014 - with the reality that so much has changed, even for myself! I hope to be able to delve Ito that with a new "updated version" (Not "upgraded", because I am still running on "old tech" myself lol).

GETTING TO KNOW ME = Is my attempt at letting folks know more about me and my geek life, which is somewhat a ironic conundrum - as one of the main reasons why I started a blog (or "TOYSREVIL") was to find like-minded friends and collectors, spinning-off from my learnt sharing experiences on toy-forums (I was in different forums dedicated to different genres of the 1/6-hobby, and I wanted one where I could showcase ALL the genres I'd collected, for myself and not be "judged" LOL) ... and at the same time, I could not deny the allure of being "anonymous" online. I hardly share my geek life with work and colleagues, as I didn't appreciate being judged for reading comicbooks during school days, something which carried on even during my working adult-life too LOL
