COMICS & ME (New VLOG #1)
I have honestly tried to "stay away" from "comicbooks" in recent years ... ok fine, the past decade or so (!), specifically trying not to go back into collecting / buying comicbooks, where it used to be a huge part of my life growing up to my adult life...! The prime reason would be "financial ability", to be able to continue my weekly pulls or even TPB-purchases once a blue moon, but it was never about "no longer enjoying or loving comics" but purely for "survival", and funnelling $$$ thru to buying toys (LOL), and I honestly have since realised a large part of my passion and inspiration had since been filtered out of my soul...
But in recent months, as I've delved back into preparing my collection for flea market sales (Started at Katong Square and currently available at Miku Market) and will continue to, I have as well since started flipping thru comicbook boxes (thanks ah Miku Market and @kalibak_komiks!), and ended up bringing home select issues with me!
And with that sparked a new notion within me: to showcase and feature "alternative underground comicbook art", with flip-thru of whatever exists in my own collection, based off my purchases in the 1990s, not necessarily for sale, mind you.
As well gives me an opportunity to ramble on about whatever crosses my mind, somewhat like a "vlog" without seeing my face (LOL).
The following my first attempt, with a couple more to come, subject to me being able to excavate my collection (That in itself is a challenge LOL), cheers.
