medic of the eight route army
:: TOYS / 1/6 ::lemme share with y'all a little secret, or rather purchasing-quirk of mine (when it comes down to 1/6th) - most times, i look at the "accessories" first and consider how "adaptable" they would be, for my kitbashes!
points to consider:
(1) adaptability to genre
(2) adaptability to timeline / era specific (to my collection)
(3) how detailed they are
not in any particular order, mind. :p
time used to be when i'd consider a figure's headsculpt first ... but after a fashion, i'd have way too much variety (a good thing, i insist!) and can somehow trade or get them, whereas little trinkets and stuff, folks tend to hoard them (so i dun feel lonely in that regard! *muahahaha*), especially era-specific, like WW2 - for their dios, i reckon :p
anyways, tis just a long diatribe into a new femme-figure from a new brand; Soldier Story (for which i am still searching for details and info) titled: Medic From The Eighth Route Army [via] = a historical Chinese army figure of the "Eighth Route Army (八路軍 Pinyin: bālù-jūn) was one of the main military forces of the Communist Party of China, active during the Chinese Civil War and the Second Sino-Japanese War. while i've a passing interest (meaning: *i like but won't neccessarily plonk down the moolah unless i is filthy rich*) in the fig and it's accessories, im more interested in the figure's body (not like that, ya pervs! *muahahaha*)
< a new femme body is always welcomed, especially if they do not come with ginormous plastic-boobs! (ie: CY-Girls) ~ "variety" is the spice-of-1/6th-collecting-life, innit? *heh*added 03.06.06:
