lost season one

4 8 15 16 23 42 ~ now all you need is the seventh number to play toto, innit?

the various character studies and developments, the mystery (polar bears and whispers), the little twists and false starts, the flashbacks, the cliched POV of every episode with a ECU of an eye and of coz; Evangeline Lilly ~ just these little potent nudges to glue me to the idiot-box and ima liking it loads.

so now that the Hatch has been opened and the camera peers far beneath the stairwell (with broken ladder) - i am now stuck with yet another muffled feeling of non-closure, of being engulfed in the same darkness as i hunger for the next series ...

the "plan" was simple. wait for season one and two to come out as dvds and watch them at a single go (much like comicbook trade paperbacks *heh*), but alas, even the simplest plans go awry ...

i had purposeful avoided watching the series when t'was shown on the telly, for fear of missing an episode (very much like reading and catchingup on monthly comics) with only glimpses of random episodes (but never full eps) and liked what i saw and now that i've finished season one, season two's bugging at me heels and curiosity and it's downright frustrating, innit? HAH. especially now that they've discovered the back part of the plane and it's survivors and of going down the Hatch (what i've managed to glean from passing eps on the telly) ... and seriously, where the deck did this video came on? during first season or the second?
