new qees update 004 (december)
tis been a while since the last Qee-update and here are some releases slated for 2007:
first up is Toy2R getting with the festive spirit of Chinese New Year with the 2.5" Qee CNY figure set of 2 ~ packed in Gold Lion+Silver Cat set and Silver Lion+Gold Cat set (with mystery Lion Dancer MonQ), with each set limited to 800 pcs @ HK$120/pack of 3 Qee Box and available in Feb 2007:

looking bright and perky is Meomi Design's 8" Qee Lesportsac Meomi Cat:
also part of the LeSportsac series is the 8" Dalek Dog (image left below) which unfortunately rocks not my toy-boat (unlike his Spacebots), but you may feel different:
whereas the Joe Ledbetter's 8" Toxic Swamp Brown Dog and Blue Dog retains his signature designs and offers a better visual treat, IMHO.
btw, all 8-inchers are @ SRP: HK$620/pc
new 3.5" Baby Qee DIY Angel White Color-series offers three new character-shapes: DoggyQ, KitcatQ and MonQ, for alla youse customizers waiting for yet another blank platform figure (image-left) and will be made available during NYCC (Feb 23rd-25th):
and rounding off this selection is MCA/Evil Design's 6" Evil Prison Ape in both Green and Orange designs/colorways - which im sure the additional accessory would/could be a ball-and-chain ... but then again, i could be wrong ...
truth be told, i (think) do not have a single Qee in my collection (*gasp*), with the exception of a Hellboy Qee ... but i have been eyeing them blank (black and white) 8-inchers @ a local comics/toyshop for quite a while now, not wanting to take a plunge (ie: "no moolah") as yet ... *heh* :p
