mister cartoon's lost angels
the first thing that strikes me (hard) when i look at the new upcoming Lost Angels vinyl figure from SuperRadToys, designed by Mister Cartoon = are the intricate details of the tattoos, if you may (even if they be pre-production samples) ~ they are simply gorgeous!

this rotocast "angel of vinyl-mercy" stands at 14-inches tall, complete with flocked wings (nice one, this), with tattoos on his chest, back, arms, stomach and shoulders. and what's an angel without his mortal-possessions: 1/6 Nike Cortez and Air Force1-kicks (dammit am a suckah fer 1/6-shoes!!!) / an Estevan Oriol-designed "LA Hands"-tee / Joker Brand cut'n'sew clothes / SA Studios necklace / 1/6th scale flip-up T-Mobile Sidekick / and a retro-ish boombox with Mr.Cartoon-tag [info via/via]
Lost Angels will be available in four colorways,with the first one out of the pearly-toy-gates (im on a cheeze-roll here, aren't i? *bleh*) being the Grey/Mono-edition, by end Feb 2007 @ a SRP:USD$130 - and there are "only" 1313-pieces made, yeh? ~do click on any image above to go to Vinyl Pulse's post to view the uber-sweet images, which i have shamelessly pilfered~ ... a nice evolution from the inital sculpts and drawings, IMHO :)
