i can't find any information so far on the bun-with-the-sunny-smile ... is it a new Bubi Au Yeung-creation? a cheery one-off prototype from Crazy Label? or the beginning of a new series of (Tim) Dim Sum-vinyl mini-figures?
(apologies to Bubi for riffing the drawing :p) altho it would be cool as blind-boxed mini-figures tho, with the box designed like a steamer-basket, doncha think? *LOL* :p

ReplyDeletetruth be told, i've never actually picked up the courage (or rather always used to blame it on "lack of time") to try putty or any sculpting materials ... mayhap i expect too much from myself and do not want to be disappointed LOL
but yes, i reckon i should have some fun, eh? LOL
If I'm right, the "treebun" is actually a manju mascot from Japan. Below is a picture of a tray of different manju(s).
