ciak asia tour in singapore, kinokuniya (oct 15-31)
CIAK is a brand of journals/notebooks/sketchbooks (which are handmade in Florence, Italy) and they currently have a CIAK Asia Tour, with the theme: "CREATE: Ideas Are Meant To Be Realized." - whereby Asian-artists/designers were invited to use CIAK notebooks as their tool in their creative process of producing their final products, with the aim "to inspire budding designers/artists to take a step and create, not just dream/talk about their ideas."
the tour features works from Devilrobot's Shinichiro Kitai, Kenny Wong, Carrie Chau, James Fong (aka Ultraman), Alice Chan, Tim Tsui, Winson Ma (click on "news" for more images), Toby Yeung, Danny Chan,William Tsang and many others [peep complete listing here] and had been on display in Hong Kong just (20 Sep-3rd Oct) and is scheduled to launch in Singapore on November 15th (til 31st Oct) @ Kinokuniya Singapore Main Store, Ngee Ann City (4pm-530pm) before it heads off to Taiwan and Shanghai next.
