why gavin strange's droplets wear skull masks
a couple of exceptional things that i've noticed about these final wax patterns of Gavin Strange's (aka JamFactory) upcoming DROPLET SWEETIES mini-vinyls from Crazy Label [blogged], is (A) how adorable these vinyl-droplets are, and that they could stand on their own, and (B) the detailing of the skull on the "feelers" peeking out from their hoodie-shrouds! ...so what are the skulls for?...GAVIN STRANGE: "The Story behind Droplet and his feelers is that his feelers in his head are actually little evil droplings, forever tormenting big friendly Droplet. They wear their Skull masks because they're actually ashamed that they're mean, they're really good-natured droplets at heart that fell in with the wrong crowd and went off the rails a bit.
It's ok though, big droplet isn't easily phased so he just ignores them and goes about his droplet business, that's why he's always smiling!"
