i mean, i have learnt to like me my online viral / conceptual websites (Transformers'
Sector 7,
TDK/Joker) and appreciate the effort to create and maintain them ... or mayhap it provides me a measure of "interactive"-entertainment while im online (as well as provide blog-fodder :p) but personally, if done with
relevance and perhaps a touch of
class (rather than "crass") - tis all fine by me. but done with restraint, mind ... altho i didn't really like
Cloverfield (and
others) altho that could be attributed to "personal taste" rather than for lack of effort (*cough*)

case in point,
Star Trek's viral webbie can be accessed via the
main movie-page by clicking on the
red blinking light on-right of the "Under Construction"-text, whereby it'll point you to
NCC-1701.com (the number of The Enterprise) which features 4 Shipyard work surveillance "cameras" (above / which reminded me of
Transformers') ... where you can also adjust focus by shifting frequencies (which may reveal faint images of the Starfleet-logo) ... and according to
TrekWeb.com [info+image via] - an image of the corridor of the U.S.S. Enterprise will be shown on the "offline"-camera if you wait a while (i didn't becoz i was way too bored LOL) ... man, i really need to learn me some programming skills coz there's a buncha stuff i'd luv to create, moreso for the sake of creation, mind ... *heh*
