PREVIEWS is soliciting a series of 2 inch tall WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE Kubricks by Medicom Toy! As well as a 1/6-scaled RAH (Real Action Hero) action figure of the little boy who ran away from home and meets up with monsters; MAX! Gotta lurv the fur-suit!

UPDATED 11.05.09: Urban Collector has listed the WTWTA Kubrick 24Ct Blind Mini Box Display @ US$239.76 / sale price US$191.99 (ie. US$9.90 / US$7.90 per blind box). No price for RAH-Max has been established.

Both items are scheduled for an October-release (no prices mentioned - do check with your fav retailer) no doubt in anticipation of the upcoming live-action feature film by Spike Jonze (based on the children's books by Maurice Sendak) which premieres October 16th [www]. In addition, there is also the mention of characters Bull, Carol, Douglas, Ira, Judith, K.W., and Max & Alexander being made available as VCDs / Vinyl Collectible Dolls. As well as combo-Kurbrick/BE@RBRICK versions of the characters. No doubt this will be quite a merch-push when the film premieres, IMHO.
