I've blogged about this before, and have expressed my disdain for the figures, but somehow I am compelled to blog about them again, (not just to score maybe some blog-hits) primarily because I have discovered images of the toys "before" they went thru the crippled-mirror in the water from Brooklyn-based artist Robert Lazzarini (whose other works were actually pretty darn cool). The Companion comparison-images are from "Drew From The Slope", and the figures were available for US$180 per at Kawsone.com. So what do I know, they were sold out! LOL
I have no idea where these Gloomy-inspired Bunny plush are bootlegs or legits, regardless they are super-adorably cool and every Chinese toy-loving home should have one … or a pair!
