Here's adding another series to the mix, from Tyson Bodnarchuk and one of my fav renditions to date - like characters from a wholly other series, and yet similar! See more of the Montreal-based artist's work on www.passthepepper.blogspot.com.

Creative duo Kozyndan showcases their artwork progress on their Flickr, with this particular focus on artwork named: "Rangda Emerging from the Sea" - completed for their upcoming exhibitions in Australia at Outré Gallery. Not many folks who dare show behind-the-scenes for fear of being copied, so kudos to Kozyndan! There's more paintings to look at via the Flickr-link.
FLICKR-QUOTE: "Kozy working on the painting of "Rangda emerging from the Sea". We are executing this, and most other works for our Australia shows in gouache paint. Drawing/ idea by Dan, background and waves painted by us (with help from our assistant Ina), the central figure of the painting will be completed by kozy. We are trying to keep busy with art for a change. Mostly we are working on paintings for our upcoming exhibitions in Australia (which open beginning the last week of April in Melbourne, then Sydney the next week and Perth the week after that), plus we have a couple commercial projects line up as well."

Andrew Bell very nicely twittered a Google Android DIY Template Sheet (2200 x 1700 pixels) and you should have fun with it (FYI: It'll come along with Android Series 2). Super-cool, this :) … and meanwhile, this are the special editions separate from both series:

Designer Carla Diana shares news about her own electronic designer toy, the Melody Man, currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter. "The crank in its belly is used to light up an LED matrix inside, and it will play electronic music specially composed for this toy." ~Perhaps the form is too generic, and some further emphasis on the figure's character might propel it beyond produce design" to a designer toy, but then again maybe that's what it doesn't need?
Recognized Button-makers Badge Bomb produces and introduces "Badge Bomb Magnets" = 1.25" diameter magnets in a pack of 4 magnets, in a huge variety of designs, from folks like Gama-Go, Mr Toast, Kozik, Andrea Kang, Naranjas Chinas and Yummy You! by Twinkie Chan. Distributed by DKE Toys, these packs run a SRP of US$10 per pack (housed in what looks like trading card hard-plastic sleeves).
