Upcoming Toys on TOYSREVIL (Feb/9/2011)
Chris Ryniak flashes a snap of an upcoming adorable creature named BUBBLEGUT, and fans everywhere gush - I know I did! Seen previously as an illustration (image-right), Bubblegut will be in roto-resin produced by Circus Posterus, and has actually been teased on the forum for quite a while now! Sized up against Freyjas and custom-Skelves, BubbleGut will stand 5.5 inches tall. *ShoCute* ~ Def my "surprise" figure of the day!
Besides original sculpts and customs for their Japan-show MONSTERS & MISFITS, limited production figure releases are not ignored, with this KUMA Clear SKELVE (Japan Edition) revealed to tantalize fans! No product details of this Kathie Olivas x Brandt Peters figure are released as yet tho.
Indonesian artist Abell Octovan unveils his new website myroyalego.com - no doubt in anticipation of the launch of his BoyCott 7" resin figure (last posted here) in both all-Black (with red eye-cross) and a as-yet-revealed "Secret" color edition.
The second round of reveals (to add to the first) of Google ANDROIDS Series 2 from Andrew Bell and the folks at DYZPlastics - featuring a Bluebot (2/16 ratio), a "Racer" by Jeff Yaksick (for the Android Team - 1/16) and *gasp* a Doktor A RUPTURE Android! (1/16 ratio)
In addition there's this little news: "…in Series 02 there are only four 2/16 ratio designs. That means that in any full case you'll end up with 12 different designs in total, unlike Series 01 where you would end up with only 10!"
Advance sneaks at two 2.5" Skelanimals Qees coming from Skelanimal Qee Artist Collection: Series Two - featuring work by Albert Art, Voltaire, and Lunabee (who is having her second Skelanimals Qee) WITH NICK Z. Look for the full unveiling of the complete set at the NYC♥QEE Event at Yoyamart on Feb 14th.
ThreeA Toys teases fans with a set if images showcasing the panty-flashing PRINCESS TQ / Tomorrow Queen, along with a giant bot head. Pre-order date not revealed at the moment tho.
I have zero clue what when where these clear pink-tinted resins will drop, but they look excellent. Courtesy of Erick Scarecrow for ESC Toy.
UPDATED: The above Soopa Maria Imperial version was released in December last year ("secretly", no less!), while the tinted clouds below, remain a "mystery" for the time being (Cheers to Henry for the headsup!).
