Grenade Bunny Sculpture by Luck Bunny x Pretty In Plastic

The low-brow art toy/pop culture world is beset with imagery of Bunnys (The Year of the Rabbit notwithstanding), and Grenades are a form pretty much restrictive to manipulate. Michelle Valigura has made a wonderful plush put of it, as did bunny-meisters which frankly, are too many to list (but of course Jeremy Fish is amongst them :p).

Then I peeped the "Grenade Bunny" designed by Luck Bunny and made by Pretty In Plastic (in collaboration with Hold Up Art), and thought "why the heck hasn't anyone thought of this yet?", followed immediately with "Awesome!". And perhaps there are actually folks who might have made the connection before, but none so fantastical as these folks, who opted to manufacture a larger than life version of! (Here's a hand-held version from back in 2009).

Check out "Strength in Numbers" at Joseph Watson Gallery in Vegas, featuring the art of Lucky Bunny - where the sculpt will be unveiled to the public, launching April 1st!

Julie B. of Pretty in Plastic mentions: "Limited editions of both LARGE and small versions will be released in the very near future...edition quantities and date to be announced soon..." = *Sweet*!
